The job of national coach and club coach are very different and often have contrary interests. For these reasons, the IFFHS has carried separate world votes from the start; that has proved advantageous and, after 13 years experience, will be retained.
On the other hand the best club coaches will appoint frequent as national coach and these coaches often resume as club coach after working for a national team. It is therefore logical to draw up an all-time ranking which unites both categories of coach. It is possible to draw up an all-time world ranking of the best coaches from the annual world votes from 1996.
In order to determine the all-time world ranking of the best coaches, the results from the annual „Top 10“ in both categories of coach were taken into consideration, awarding 10 points for a 1st place, nine points for the 2nd place and so on.. By totalling the points received since 1996, the All-Time World Coach Ranking will be extended annually.
For the 13th time the IFFHS held the annual vote for the The World‘s best Club Coach. Selected editorial staffs and experts from 85 countries across all continents took part in the voting. Only ten club coaches of the "Top 25" for the year 2007 again managed to reach the world ranking in 2008. The jurors had to nominate their top four places, awarding them four points down to one point.
Sir "Alex" Ferguson was voted The World‘s best Club Coach for the second time since 1999 - and with a large lead. The 67-year-old Scotsman won with Manchester United the English, European and global championships in 2008. In second place is the 61-year-old Dutchman "Dick" Advocaat, who led Zenit St. Petersburg to a UEFA Cup win, ahead of the Argentinean Edgardo Bauza, who guided LDU de Quito, outsiders from Ecuador, to win the Copa Libertadores.
Remarkably, two coaches from Asia are among the "Top 25". Fifty-year-old German Ralf Rangnick features in the world ranking despite his team not playing internationally, but on the achievement of an ascent from the 3rd league to the leaders of the German Bundesliga. On the other hand the world ranking features Roberto Mancini, Avram Grant, "Frank" Rijkaard, Alain Perrin, Mirdjalal Kasymov and Ottmar Hitzfeld (now Swiss national coach) who constitute six coaches who are no longer attached to the same club.
Among the 25 best club coaches of the world for the year 2008 are four Italians as well as two Dutch, Argentinians, French, Portuguese, Germans, and Brazilians each, but only one Briton who nevertheless won. Most of the 25 top-coaches trained in Italy (5), England (4), Spain (3), Germany (2), and Brazil (2).
Saluut for your dedicate Sir Alex, keep our spirit. And then I think Mr Mancio is most wanted coach because he young, smart, he's potentially. FOOTBALOVE prediction Ryan Giggs is the next most potentially coach. He's Potentially outstanding because he's trade record player and awards. He's the real leader.
