WALLPAPER CESC FABREGAS ARSENAL

Francesc "Cesc" Fabregas i Soler is a Spanish footballer who plays as a central midfielder. He captains the Premier League side Arsenal and also plays for the Spanish national team.

Fàbregas started his career as a trainee with Barcelona but was signed by Arsenal in September 2003 at the age of 16. Following injuries to key midfielders in the 2004–05 season, he established himself as Arsenal's starting central midfielder and playmaker. He went on to break several of the club's records, earning a reputation as one of the best young players for his position.

In international football, the Spaniard's national career began when he represented the Under-17 side at the 2003 FIFA U-17 World Championship in Finland. As a result of his club performances, he was called up to the senior squad in 2006. He has played in the 2006 FIFA World Cup, Euro 2008 and 2010 FIFA World Cup, helping Spain to become eventual winners in the two most recent tournaments.

WALLPAPER ANDREI ARSHAVIN ARSENAL

Andrei Sergeyevich Arshavin is a Russian footballer who plays for English Premier League team Arsenal and captains the Russian national team. He has won both the UEFA Cup and the UEFA Super Cup with Zenit.

The 2006 Russian footballer of the year is a versatile attacking midfielder who can also play as a second striker. Arshavin gained international attention during his breakthrough performance at the UEFA Euro 2008 championship in Austria-Switzerland which resulted in his inclusion in the Team of the Tournament.

Signing for Arsenal in 2009, Arshavin enjoyed a successful start to his career with the Gunners, becoming Premier League Player of the Month in April 2009 and Arsenal's player of the month in March and April 2009. During the 2008–09 season, he scored six goals in 12 league appearances for Arsenal. In a match against Liverpool, Arshavin became the first player to score four league goals at Anfield since 1946. Former Arsenal forward Dennis Bergkamp has speculated that Arshavin has "every chance of becoming a favourite of the London fans".

WALLPAPER TOMAS ROSICKY ARSENAL

TOMAS ROSICKY is a Czech footballer who currently plays for Arsenal of the Premier League and is the captain of the Czech national team. He is also one of the many of Arsenal's vice captains. He has a brother named Jiří who used to be a footballer as well. A versatile attacking midfielder nicknamed "The Little Mozart", Rosický is known for his skill and his ability to orchestrate the midfield with his passing, Arsène Wenger described him as a player with remarkable vision and first touch.

WALLPAPER ROBIN VAN PERSIE ARSENAL

Robin van Persie is a Dutch footballer. He currently plays for Arsenal and the Dutch national team as a forward. He is the club's vice-captain after Cesc Fàbregas.

The son of two artists, van Persie was encouraged to follow in his parents' footsteps, but he instead preferred football and joined SBV Excelsior's youth squad. He made his breakthrough at his hometown club Feyenoord, where he spent three seasons and won the 2002 UEFA Cup. Disagreements with coach Bert van Marwijk culminated in a change of club and van Persie moved to Premier League side Arsenal for £2.75 million in 2004. He won the FA Community Shield and the FA Cup in his first season with the London club and went on to win the 2006 Rotterdam Sportsman of the year award.

Van Persie has 51 caps and 19 goals with the Netherlands and made his senior international debut in 2005. He has participated in the 2006 World Cup, the Euro 2008, and the 2010 World Cup.

WALLPAPER SAMIR NASRI ARSENAL

Samir Nasri Wallpaper/ Samir Ben Said Nasri is a French professional footballer of Algerian heritage who plays for Arsenal in the Premier League and for the French national team.

A naturally right-footed player, also effective on his weaker side, Nasri plays as a winger for Arsenal; however, he has also been deployed in central midfield in the absence of Cesc Fàbregas due to injury. During his time at boyhood club Olympique de Marseille, Nasri's Algerian background, technical prowess and playmaking on the field earned him direct comparisons to French football great Zinedine Zidane and the mantle of the 'French Pele'.

Nasri was a regular for France at the youth level and was a member of the country's UEFA Euro 2008 squad, though he saw limited playing time. In a surprising move by French coach Raymond Domenech, he was left out of the 2010 French World Cup team.

ARSENAL TEAM SQUAD WALLPAPERS

ARSENAL WALLPAPERS history, their home colours have been bright red shirts with white sleeves and white shorts, though this has not always been the case. The choice of red is in recognition of a charitable donation from Nottingham Forest, soon after Arsenal's foundation in 1886. Two of Dial Square's founding members, Fred Beardsley and Morris Bates, were former Forest players who had moved to Woolwich for work. As they put together the first team in the area, no kit could be found, so Beardsley and Bates wrote home for help and received a set of kit and a ball. The shirt was redcurrant, a dark shade of red, and was worn with white shorts and blue socks.

In 1933 Herbert Chapman, wanting his players to be more distinctly dressed, updated the kit, adding white sleeves and changing the shade to a brighter pillar box red. Two possibilities have been suggested for the origin of the white sleeves. One story reports that Chapman noticed a supporter in the stands wearing a red sleeveless sweater over a white shirt; another was that he was inspired by a similar outfit worn by the cartoonist Tom Webster, with whom Chapman played golf.
