Nike Total 90 Strike II L FG Boot Review

We all know that Mr Ronaldo loves his Nike football boots (he recently featured in a campaign for the new Nike Mercurial Vapor IV boots in which he raced a Bugatti), but as not everyone can afford such a pricey boot we opted to have a look at the more affordable but still exciting Nike Total 90 Strike II.

With the Nike Total 90 Strike boots you can choose from various colour schemes, but we opted for the "White and Varsity Red" option, which looked very attractive but not too over the top (such as pink boots ;) ).

The boots cost a recession-proof $45.00, which is around £33.00, not a bad price at all. Postage to the UK from the USA was only a few dollars extra too, and it arrived in a few days in very good condition - great service by Soccer Pro.

On first impressions I was very impressed with the quality of the boot - it felt sturdy and it seemed to have been made very well. I liked the way that the laces curled around the tongue to avoid getting in the way, giving you plenty of space to strike the ball with instead of using your laces. The boot also felt very light when in use, which was surprising due to the strength of the leather.

Using the boots was a very enjoyable experience in all - they were comfy and had good padding but they weren't too comfortable - my foot fit the boot well, which is a personal preference for me as I like to be able to have a good feel of the ball, which isn't possible when the boots are too big or are poorly made. It is very easy to strike the ball with power in these boots, and I highly recommend that you buy a pair - they are cheap and very sturdy.
