After the Barcelona game last week, some Irish football pundits were branding Cristiano Ronaldo's performance as a disgrace. Although it is fair to say that Cristiano didn't have an amazing match for Man Utd (who did?, except the defence, of course), I think its a little unfair to call him a disgrace.
It was obvious that Messi outshone Ronaldo on the night, and it seemed that Messi was one of the few honest Barcelona players who wouldn't dive constantly throughout the match. Ronaldo was seen to go down quite easily at some points in the game, and would throw his arms around in frustration - much to the annoyance of the Barca fans.
