Former Real Madrid talisman Zinedine Zidane has declared that Los Merengues can go all the way in this seasons UEFA Champions League, and also remarked that current superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is capable of better things in the game than him.
Zidane was speaking after Madrid beat Marseille 3-1 at Stade Velodrome to book their place in the knockout stages of Europe's premier competition with Portuguese winger Ronaldo scoring the opener from an exquisite free-kick before adding the final goal in the latter stages of the game to ensure they topped Group C.
"Lately I am enjoying watching them [Madrid]. The players are impressive. They are playing more like a team now and that is important because there is still three or four months to improve," he said afterwards, according to AS.
"Cristiano is not just good, he is phenomenal, he does better things than I used to do."
